Just wanted to say - Totally amazing wedding fair. What great people this year and we are very thankful to you both for letting us be part of it. I hope the rest of the year is as good.

Just a quick note to say 'Well Done' in organising the Wedding Fair. I was delighted to be able to make it down on Saturday and pleased that i saw both of you - thank you both for your best wishes. The organisation of such an event with so many different people and professions, must have meant that many problems occured that needed sorting out and you both appeared to cope superbly. The wedding and the catwalk was superb (and once Sammi's dress was done up correctly, she looked stunning !) So in short - thank you, for everything you did for us .. it is appreciated.

How spooky is this - I was just making a cup of tea and thinking I must email you guys to say thank you for a great weekend. It turned out to be really successful and I had lots of interest and brides coming to the shop! So thank you very much and would like to be included next year!

A huge thank from me too. I have never had a fair where I booked as many as I did. I could see a lot of effort had been put in to the advertising and the layout was great. Really really enjoyed myself. Same place next year please!!
 

We were very impressed with your show at the Winter Gardens, and the traffic it generated. For us, it was a success, and also a steep learning curve. The opinion of those who saw our stand was that it compared very favourably with that of others, who obviously have much more experience than us. All the fun of the (Wedding) Fair!

It is said that Christmas and New Year is the busiest time for couples to get engaged and for all those that did there was the Eastbourne Wedding Fair at the Winter Garden this weekend, from 7-8 January.

It was held in the Floral Hall and Congress Suite in the Winter Garden and was a sell-out for exhibition space! There were lots of visitors tweeting over the weekend too!

 

With over 100 exhibitors it was a busy set-up day on Friday with all the staff in the Winter Garden busy helping. Even though the exhibition in itself created quite a buzz, our best bit of the day was the real live Services wedding, which took place in the Gold Room on Saturday. The couple used the catwalk entrance and the stage was all dressed - I imagine it was what a lot of young brides to be would have wanted! The bride and groom looked amazing and had a real glow – it was wonderful! When the bride was waiting to go into the room with her father by her side, the bride seemed so calm and obviously ready to undertake her vows… very touching.

Along with the wedding in the Gold Room, the exhibition had three fashion shows each day, showing off the latest bridal gowns and mother to be outfits, using professional models; it was a real experience for visitors.

With some of our Conference Members exhibiting as well, including Impromtu Jazz, Grand Hotel, Lions Hotels, York House Hotel, and The Star at Alfriston, it was a fantastic event to start the year in Eastbourne!
